Gana River Outfitters is very fortunate to have a great crew of experienced guides, cooks and wranglers as well as a pilot who has been with us for the past
15 years. Our crew seems like one big happy family and indeed many of them are family. The Gana River Crew is led by outfitter Harold Grinde who started
at Gana in 1997 and has been there ever since, first as a partner and guide with Bill McKenzie, and since 2005 as manager. Harold has over 30 years
experience in the outfitting business and is committed to quality service, fair chase hunts and a family friendly camp. Harold's brother Adam Grinde along
with Adam's son Colter and daughter Mary (Faehmel) are working partners at Gana River. They are also the very core of our great crew.
Although there is always a certain amount of turnover on any crew our core staff remains fairly constant. Our pilot Bill Gourlie has been with us since 1997
and is one of the best. Adam Grinde is only able to guide part time but has extensive guiding experience. Ryan and Mary Faehmel have over 20 years
combined experience at Gana. Mary's brother Colter Grinde has 13 years experience starting as a wrangler and now guiding for the past 8 seasons. Guides
Trevor Shulist, Nathan Marin, and Rob Harvey all have been with us from 6 to 12 years and all have extensive hunting and guiding experience before
coming to Gana River. Jason Wheale wrangled for 3 years and has now been guiding for 2 seasons. Kody Pritchard wrangled for 2 years and has now
guided for 2 years as well. Dave Beuckert and Jamie Connors both guided a couple of hunts at Gana in 2011 and both have extensive guiding experience.
Guide Scott Kennedy and wrangler Jesse Rachar were great additions to our crew in 2011 with their hard work and enthusiasm. Mary Faehmel, Fjell Grinde
and my wife Laura share duties in the kitchen at base camp. This great crew will work hard to make your hunt not only successful but also fun and
memorable.
